Easy Fried Rice is the best restaurant style fried rice you'll ever make! Just 15 minutes and a great way to clean out the vegetable drawer.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cold white rice
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup onion , chopped
  • 6 ounces frozen vegetable mix , or fresh vegetables
  • teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce*
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • eggs , lightly beaten
  • cup cooked protein , chicken, shrimp, chinese sausage, etc
Instructions
  1. Dalam mangkuk kecil, kocok minyak wijen, kecap asin pilihan dan lada putih. Menyisihkan.
  2. Dalam wajan besar, panci besi cor atau wajan, panaskan minyak sayur di atas api sedang-tinggi. Tambahkan bawang bombay dan tumis sampai buram dan lembut. Jika Anda menambahkan sayuran mentah atau protien yang dimasak, tambahkan juga pada langkah ini juga.
  3. After onion has cooked, add frozen vegetables. Stir until defrosted, approximately 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add cold rice, using a spatula to toss the rice with other ingredients. Do NOT stir, toss or flip to prevent the starch from making the rice too soggy.
  5. Add lightly beaten eggs, continuing to flip until eggs are nearly cooked. 
  6. Pour sesame oil mixture over top of rice, continuing to flip and toss until all grains are uniformly colored. If you do not use a dark soy sauce, yours might not be as dark as mine.
Recipe Notes
  • I prefer Mushroom flavored dark soy sauce
